The Clean Team has been San Francisco’s premier housecleaning service since 1979. We are a fully insured and bonded company.

Regular Cleaning

We provide weekly or every other week services. For this service (our specialty), we establish a fixed charge per visit. For this charge, we dust, vacuum, clean floors, and polish and clean the kitchen and bathroom(s) thoroughly, providing our own professional, effective and personally safe cleaning supplies and equipment. When our clients want us to do something extra, like polish silver or clean the oven or refrigerator, for example, they just ask or leave a note. And yes, we do windows!

Occasional Cleaning

We provide spring cleaning all year long. For occasional cleaning we charge by the hour. In most cases, our charge includes all supplies. Some of the jobs people often ask us to do are general housecleaning, move-in or move-out cleaning or cleaning after construction or remodeling.

We realize that all homes are not created equally, therefore, we provide free in home estimates to better understand each individuals needs. Please feel free to call us for a free in home estimate, so we can custom tailor your housecleaning needs.

The IRS, house cleaners, and you.

The IRS considers many housecleaners to be employed by the person whose home they clean. If that employer is you, that means you could possibly be personally responsible for matching and reporting Social Security taxes. The fine is payment by the employer of all taxes due plus a 100% penalty added on for good measure! The Clean Team pays their own Social Security taxes so you don’t have to worry.
